Frustration Conduit #5

Today’s subject for the Frustration Conduit topic is “How I learned a lesson: know when to stop.”

Let’s take a trip down memory lane. Remember this post?

It has been a little while since then and I made progress on this price.

Or so I thought… Take a look.

I ought to have a disclaimer attached to this drawing: CAUTION – may cause seizures!

This is a perfect example where I wish I’d stopped couple of months ago. I felt like this piece was missing something. I kept adding on to it. Now I look at it and feel nauseated. It is time to put it on top of the shelf in my office and forget about it for a while. Maybe some time later I can look at it and see if I can save it. Good bye, an ugly child of mine.
