Meaning of the Day Before Friday

When I worked for one of America’s glorious monopolies the laypeople renamed the days of the week. They felt the new names revealed the true meaning of their days of captivity:

–          Monday = Monday
–          Tuesday = Monday
–          Wednesday = Monday
–          Thursday = the Day Before Friday
–          Friday = Friday
–          Saturday = Weekend
–          Sunday = the Day Before Monday

Since then, I involuntarily call Thursday by its new name. But no matter how you call it, the day before Friday is an über-important day.

Curious what’s so important about the day before Friday? Come back next week to find out.
